Everyone has different preferences on smell, and often associate a certain smell to something. To help relieve headache, use lavender or eucalyptus oil.
Simply massage these oils to the head, or you can also opt to light aromatherapy candles. Another good suggestion is to put 5 drops of lavender oil in warm water.
Soak a piece of cloth into the solution and then place it on the head or neck.
2. Massage
If you can get someone to knead your temples, forehead, and the back of your head, do so. Ask this person to use a bit of pressure when massaging to improve blood circulation, which may also be the cause of your headache.
If you do not have anyone else to help, you can simply massage your head on your own. Pour a few drops of essential oils to hasten relief.
3. Exercise
People who have migraines should exercise regularly because it helps release endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers.
But if you have not started any exercise program for quite some time now, be careful not to engage in rigid regimens right away as this might have a negative impact on your body and could worsen your migraine.
It is recommended to spend 30 minutes a day walking or jog outdoors to help reduce headaches, especially if it is a chronic problem.
4. Cold/Hot Compress
Try a cold pack, wrap it with a towel, and place it in the neck. If this will not work for you, the next alternative would be to soak a towel in hot water and place it in your neck or forehead.
Here’s another excellent suggestion: dip your hands in hot water because this helps get rid of the pressure in the head.Using one or two of these remedies should take away your headache in no time.

5 Best Home Remedies for Natural Colon Cleansing
One of the most important organs in our digestive system is Colon.
Its major job is to take the salt, vitamins, water, & nutrients out of food that cannot be digested, break down food that was not digested in the small intestine, and remove solid waste from the body.
1. Water:
The very best thing we can do for colon cleansing is to drink a lot of water.
It is important to drink at least 10 to 12 glasses of water a day. This will help your body flush out the harmful toxins and waste in a natural way.
Drinking a lot of water will also help the natural peristaltic action, helping the food move through the digestive system.
Also, water is important to keep your body well hydrated. Together with water, you can drink fresh fruit and vegetable juices.
2. Lemon Juice:
Lemons are good for the digestive system because they have antioxidant properties and are full of vitamin C.
For this reason, lemon juice is great for colon cleansing.
Mix the juice of one lemon, a pinch of sea salt, and a little honey in a glass of lukewarm water. Drink this mixture in the morning on an empty stomach.
This will give you more energy, better bowel movement, and better skin condition.
3. Fiber-rich foods:
Eating foods that are full of fiber will also help cleanse the colon of bad toxins. Fiber will keep the stool soft and help bowel movement, which helps the body force out waste products.
Foods that are full of fiber will also get rid of any kind of intestinal problem.
You can add a lot of fiber to your diet by eating fresh fruits like raspberries, pears, and apples, and fresh vegetables like artichokes, peas, and broccoli.
There is also a lot of fiber in cereals, whole grains, nuts, beans, and seeds.
4. Yogurt:
Eating fresh yogurt all the time is a good way to keep the colon healthy. Because yogurt is a probiotic food, it can bring good bacteria into the gut and help digestion.
It can also fight inflammatory bowel disease. This is especially true of yogurts that have live and active cultures.
5. Aloe Vera:
Aloe vera is known for killing toxins and acts as a laxative. This makes it a great colon cleanser.
Aloe vera gel can also treat other health problems, like headaches, skin infection, diarrhea, gastric pain, and constipation.
Add the juice of one lemon to fresh aloe vera gel and put the mixture in the blender to make a few ounces of smooth juice.
Drink it a few times a day for a few days.NOTE: Before starting any colon cleansing treatment, ask your doctor for instructions, especially if you are taking any medications or suffering from any health condition.

10 Things Women with Gorgeous Skin Always Do
It’s no secret that most women want clear and radiant skin. The truth is women with gorgeous skin aren't just lucky, they work at it. Here are 10 natural skincare tips to follow, no matter your skin type or what the current season is.
1. They never go to bed without washing their face.
There are definitely some nights when you’re ready to jump into bed without doing anything. You just want to take off your clothes, hop in and sleep. Unfortunately, when you leave your makeup on, you’re also leaving pollution & dirt on. Your pores will absorb all that grime, all night. YUK!
Removing your makeup before bed can make a HUGE difference between having beautiful, glowing skin and a dull-looking complexion with clogged pores that are more prone to breakouts and developing fine lines.
How to remove your eye makeup:
- Wash your hands with soap and water.
- Pour a few drops of Pure Fiji’s Exotic Bath & Body Oil onto two fingers. Rub those two fingers with the identical two fingers on your other hand.
- Softly rub each eye in circles with the corresponding fingers. The skin around your eyes is the thinnest, most delicate skin on your face so make sure you use light, downward motions to wipe away your shadow, liner, and mascara. You’ll feel the makeup melt away under your fingers.
- Wipe off with a lukewarm cotton pad and continue with the rest of your routine starting with Pure Fiji’s Purifying Cleanser.
2. They stay hydrated from morning to night.
And not just when you're hitting the gym or you're super thirsty (if you get to that point, you're most likely dehydrated already).
Hydration; inside and out is one of the keys to keeping your skin radiant. If you’re still wondering how much water to drink; 8 x eight-ounce glasses is still the ideal daily minimum to be fully hydrated to sustain radiant skin.
3. They use an antioxidant serum as part of their daily skincare routine.
Did you know that UV light can still damage your skin even if you're wearing sunscreen? To combat this; try adding a layer of serum, with antioxidants to your skincare routine. Use Pure Fiji’s Hydrating Multi-Active Serum under your SPF. It contains; virgin coconut oil, Dilo oil, like Oil, macadamia oil, and passionflower extract.
This way your skin is more likely to repair the damage as it occurs, preventing the onset of brown spots and premature fine lines.
4. They change their pillowcase every three days.
Okay, you’re thinking; another step to my skincare routine? Whether we like it or not dirt, bacteria, and hair product residue collect on our pillowcases. Gross right? A fresh pillowcase is also one of the keys to preventing breakouts.
Do your best to wash your pillowcases with a dye-free, fragrance-free detergent and avoid fabric softeners especially if you have sensitive skin.
5. They know which skincare ingredients to avoid
Buying cheap face cleansers, shampoos, lotions, and other products we put on our bodies can be just as harmful as anything we put in them.
Harmful ingredients found in skincare products have been linked to everything from hormonal disruptions to cancer, and what’s worse is that they go directly into your bloodstream when applied to your skin or hair.
While there are certainly lots of studies with different perspectives on this topic, women with gorgeous skin can agree that using more natural products like Pure Fiji’s are the safest bet for you and the environment.
Here are the top 10 ingredients to avoid in makeup and skincare products.
- Sodium lauryl sulfate
- Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA)
- Triclosan and triclocarban
- Aminophenol, Diaminobenzene, Phenylenediamine (Coal Tar)
- Parabens
- Polyethylene/PEGs
- Petroleum distillates
- Propylene glycol
- Hydroquinone
- Phthalates
6. The workout
Getting to a Barre or Zumba class can have a positive effect on your skin because a workout increases circulation which creates that dewy glow once it's over.
Another bonus: Working up a sweat helps lower the stress hormone cortisol which is linked not only to skin aging but breakouts and clogged pores.
7. They avoid junk food
We’re not suggesting you completely eliminate junk food; just don’t eat it every day.
Sugar, white bread, pasta, cake, and candy may speed up glycation in the skin.
Glycation is when sugar molecules latch onto cells, including those in the skin, and cause them to become malformed and accelerate the breakdown of collagen.
Eating junk food will not only result in pimples but a loss of radiance and more noticeable lines. Instead, 80% of your diet should be focused on nutrition filled foods like; green veggies, fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, lean protein, nuts, and seeds to ensure your skin stays breakout-free, supple, and radiant.
8. They exfoliate at least one to two days a week
One of the reasons you need to exfoliate is so you can reap the maximum benefits of your products.
When exfoliating your face, make sure you use a gentle motion. Use small circular movements rather than rubbing roughly up and down.
Be even more gentle when exfoliating your lips, as scrubbing too hard can make them crack and bleed. Once you’ve finished exfoliating your face with Pure Fiji’s Exfoliating Scrub, be sure to finish with a hydrating serum and moisturizer. When you commit to exfoliating, you reveal fresh, radiant skin - the best time to reap the maximum benefits of your targeted products.
9. They are diligent with their skincare routine
Women with gorgeous skin not only have a skincare routine they follow but they know the importance of choosing the right products especially when the seasons change.
If you're using the wrong formula for your skin, it can actually have an adverse effect. It could result in being too oily, too sensitive, clogging pores, and more.
Did you know that having a skincare routine now will save you money down the road? If you invest in a skincare routine now, it can help you avoid a visit to a dermatologist or sadly a plastic surgeon in the future.
10. They use a face mask once a week
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tbsp. honey
This mask prevents breakouts, gets rid of excess sebum, unclogs pores, plus gets rid of pollution dirt. According to Dr. David E.
Bank, the director for the Center for Dermatology, Cosmetic & Laser Surgery; honey is soothing and hydrating, and because of its own viscosity and consistency can help break apart excess sebum.
Lemon again has antibacterial properties. Baking soda is anti-inflammatory, it's antibacterial.
Be careful not to get lemon juice in your eyes. Do not vigorously (or even gently) rub this on your skin. Just apply it (as gently as you can), let it sit for a bit, and then rinse off.
What the ingredients actually do:
- Honey can make your skin moist, softer, and can help break apart excess sebum.
- Lemon juice can be slightly antibacterial, and a little exfoliating.
- Baking soda can be anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.
If you want gorgeous skin it’s no different than maintaining a healthy weight. You don’t just wing it, you have to have a plan and stick to it consistently.
Radiant, flawless-looking skin does not happen overnight. Creating and maintaining a regular skincare routine and combining it with the finest natural skin care products like Pure Fiji is an investment that will pay off in more healthy and radiant looking skin for years to come.

How to Make Banana Hair Mask for Dry and Dull Hair
In this post, I am sharing with you all do it yourself banana hair mask for dry and dull hair. If you dry and dull hair and want to try a home remedy, do read on for more details.
Causes of Dry and Dull Hair:
There are several reasons for dry and dull hair like deficiency of vitamins, unhealthy eating habits, lack of nutrition, lack of moisture, not drinking enough water, washing hair with hot water, blow drying, coloring, etc.
Chemically treated hair tends to become dry and dull over a period of time. Exposure to very hot or very cold weather can make hair dry and dull.
Not taking proper care of hair using the wrong hair products can also lead to hair drying and dulling. Pollution, stress, and exposure to the sun, ultraviolet rays, air conditioners can also make hair dull and dry.
Benefits of Banana Hair Mask:
Banana is loaded with moisture and can provide ample hydration to your hair. It is rich in potassium, antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin B6, magnesium, and protein, which can nourish and restore your hair back to health.
Banana hair mask helps to deep condition hair and hydrate each and every strand. It makes hair soft, silky, and shiny. It also aids hair growth. It helps to tame frizzy hair. Reduces split ends, adding elasticity and manageability.
Help get rid of dandruff and scalp dryness. The banana hair mask is incredibly moisturizing and one of the best remedies for dry and dull hair!
Ingredients Required To Prepare Banana Hair Mask:
One ripe banana ( You can use two ripe bananas if you have long hair)
One tablespoon olive oil ( I have used extra virgin olive oil)
One tablespoon almond oil ( I have used Forest Essentials cold-pressed organic virgin almond oil)
One tablespoon honey (I have used organic honey from Kottakal Ayurveda)
Two tablespoons full-fat milk (You can use one tablespoon cream or two tablespoons fresh coconut milk instead of full-fat milk. I have used full fat but toned milk).
One full egg (I have used farm egg)
Please note that the above measurements are for a shoulder to mid-length hair, however, if you have long hair, you can use two ripe bananas and accordingly increase the quantity of one tablespoon honey and almond or olive oil to two tablespoons.
My hair is shoulder length and this mask is more than enough for me. If you want to make the consistency of the mask a bit thicker, add cream instead of milk or just add one tablespoon milk. I have also shown the tablespoon I have used in my pictures.
How To Prepare Banana Hair Mask:
Step 1: Assemble all the ingredients required, so that you do not miss out anything.
Step 2: In a bowl or a soup plate, take one ripe banana and slice it into small pieces. Then using a fork, mash the banana nicely to make a purée.
Step 3: To this banana purée, add one egg white and yolk, add one tablespoon honey, one tablespoon olive oil, one tablespoon almond oil, two tablespoons spoons full-fat milk.
Step 4: Blend all the ingredients nicely and make sure no chunks are left. Your hair mask is ready to apply.
How To Apply Banana Hair Mask:
Partition your hair nicely and start applying the mask from roots and work towards the strands. Try to apply on all the strands and make sure you have applied all over your scalp and hair.
You can tie your hair into a loose bun or clip it up with a banana clip. Some of the masks may leak from your hair strands, for this, you can use a shower cap to cover your hair after applying the mask.
Then cover your head with an old towel for additional warmth and protection. You can leave this mask on your hair for fifteen to thirty minutes. Rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Follow up with a mild shampoo to cleanse your hair nicely. I prefer to use a mild / scalp shampoo without sulfate to wash my hair, after this mask. You can skip using conditioner since your hair is already preconditioned.
Let your hair dry naturally and touch them to feel the difference. You can use this mask once or twice a week.

28 Beauty Tips and Tricks Every Woman Needs to Know
In this post, I am sharing some handy and easy beauty tips and tricks I came across. Do read on for details on the same.
1. Lip Balm To Tame Eyebrows:
You can use a wax-based balm to shape and tame your eyebrows. It will keep them in shape and in place all day long.
2. Eyeliner To Fill In A Bold Brow:
You can use an eyeliner pencil to fill in your brows with mild strokes. But make sure to use a lighter hand than what you do with a regular eyebrow pencil.
3. Eyeshadow Stick As Liner:
Eyeshadow sticks can be used as an eyeshadow as well as eyeliner. Use an eye shadow stick to give a classic smoky effect to your eyes.
4. Give A Fresh And Awake Look To Your Eyes:
You can instantly brighten your eyes, make them look wider and more awake. Apply a nude eyeliner pencil to your lower waterline.
The muted neutral shade is less harsh than the usual white eyeliner. You can also dab a shimmery neutral shadow or highlighter shadow onto the inner corners of your eyes. This will not only make your eyes sparkle but also give that wide-awake look to your eyes.
5. Make Your Lashes Look Fuller And Darker:
A quick way to add depth to your eyes without using eyeliner is mascara stamping. Gently press your mascara against the underside of your lashes to give them a fuller and darker look.
6. Enhance Your Eye Lashes:
You can use a loose translucent powder to enhance your lashes. Try fluffing on a little translucent loose powder between layers of mascara, to add thickness and length.
7. Remove Mascara Smudge With A Makeup Brush:
Nothing is more frustrating than getting a mascara smudge on your eyes just after finishing your eye makeup. Don’t try to wipe it with your finger or remove the whole eye makeup and start all over again.
Instead, you can take a small concealer brush and dip it in soft micellar water to remove the smudge without ruining your eyeshadow or liner.
8. Substitute Brown Eyeshadow As Bronzer And Vice Versa:
You can substitute brown eyeshadows for bronzers and vice versa if you happen to run out of either.
9. Powder Blushes To Cream Blushes:
You can add Aquaphor to powder blushes to convert them into cream blushes.
10. Apply Blush According To Your Face Shape:
When applying blush, use your cheekbone structure as your guide, it will give you the most flattering look.
11. Dewy Glow On Cheeks:
Vaseline tip from Rati Mam, on IMBB, has become so famous. How can I miss it! Apply vaseline to create a dewy glow on your cheeks. Debit on cheekbones, for a natural dewy glow.
12. Create A Dewy Glow On Your Face:
You can create a dewy glow by mixing your moisturizer with your foundation. This will give a dewy glow to your facial skin.
13. Use Highlighter To Get Dewy Glow:
You can get a dewy glow by using a highlighter or illuminator above your cheekbones and on the brow bone, just underneath your eyebrows.
14. Contour Cheeks With Matte Powder:
To contour cheeks, use a matte powder, a few shades darker than your skin tone with an angled brush. Blend on temples and under the cheekbone.
15. Translucent Loose Powder To Fix Cream Blush / Eyeshadow:
16. Use Face Gloss For A Natural Looking Highlight:
Tired of your typical highlighter? Try face gloss! Rather than contouring your face, all you need to do is dab a little light reflecting face gloss along the tops of your cheekbones, on your brow bones, and in the center of your lips.
17. Make Your Own Lip Tint:
You can mix eyeshadow or blush with vaseline or clear lip gloss to make your own lip tint at home.
18. To Make Lipstick Matte:
You can make any lipstick matte with translucent loose powder and/or tissue. After applying your lipstick, mildly press the tissue in between your lips, this will take away the excess oil and shine making your lipstick matte.
Another option is to mildly pat translucent loose powder directly on your lips, this loose powder will soak the oil and shine, making your lipstick matte. You can use both together to make your lipstick matte, apply some translucent loose powder on a tissue, shake off the excess and then mildly pat it all over your lips.
19. Lip liner To Make Lipstick Last Longer:
20. Prevent Lipstick From Feathering Or Bleeding:
You can apply highlighter or concealer around your lips. This will prevent lipstick from bleeding or feathering.
You can also use a colorless lip liner to prevent your lipstick from smearing or spreading. Another option is to set it with translucent powder. No need to put the translucent powder directly on your lips.
Instead, use a tissue as a blotter, so the right amount of powder accesses your pout. After applying lipstick, mildly put the tissue on your lips and then using a brush tap the translucent powder all over the tissue on your lips.
The tissue allows only the right amount of power required to fix your lipstick, this will not only make your lip color matte but prevent from spreading.
21. Highlighter To Create A Big Pout:
Applying highlighter above the cupid’s bow gives an illusion of fuller and poutier lips.
22. Make Your Own Nail Polish:
You can combine clear nail polish with old or broken eyeshadow or blush to make your own custom nail color.
23. Dip Nails In A Bowl Of Ice:
If you want your nail polish to dry quickly, you can dip your painted nails in a bowl of ice-cold water to dry faster.
24. Hide Polish Chips With Textured Polish:
When nail paint chips, instead of removing the polish and reapplying, you can apply a coat of sparkle/shimmer nail polish over your current color. This will not only cover up the chipped polish but also give a sparkling shine to your nails.
25. Steam Nails For A Matte Look:
Try this if you haven’t. Apply two coats of glossy nail polish. While they’re still wet, hold your nails about five inches above steam coming from boiling water. Watch the magic happen; glossy painted nails will turn matte.
26. Manicure or Pedicure Mess-Free:
You can keep your manicure or pedicure mess-free by applying vaseline or Aquaphor on the skin around your nails.

28. Make Perfume Last Longer:
If you want yo make your perfume last longer, apply vaseline on the pulse points before spraying your perfume. This will make your scent adhere to your skincare and also last longer.
